USING FORESIGHT RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY PRIORITY AREAS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the significance foresight research in identifying priority areas for higher education development over next 15-20 years. Developed countries such as USA, Great Britain, Japan, and Germany employ Foresight methodology long-term forecasting at national level. This has proven be most effective tool selecting science technology. versatile can used model problems various fields, including medicine, education, natural sciences, technology, more. modelling determine directions university development, funding sources demand skilled personnel different sectors economy.
 Scientific prognostic support vital determining scientific coming By doing so, it possible dominant theories branches that will shape future. Furthermore, perspectives educational process participants must taken into account when reforming education. results forecasts on improvements show following trends: elite online platforms, lifelong learning, transparency system, gamification. Longterm enables implementation strategic management science-based development. studies help predict technical potential a school, optimal ratio between field forecast effect obtaining applying activities' results.
